Visit UNESCO Olomouc & Kroměříž

In one eventful day you will visit 2 beautiful sights on the UNESCO list of heritage sites. Throughout your day you will be accompanied by our professional guide, who will deliver a comprehensive introduction to each of these historical sites.

This full-day trip will take us to 2 Moravian towns, both inscribed in the UNESCO heritage list. The history of both towns is tightly bound with the Archdiocese of Olomouc. In Kroměříž, which acted as a summer residence for Olomouc bishops and archbishops, we will see the Archbishop Palace, where Milos Forman’s Oscar winning movie Amadeus was filmed, and 2 gardens – the castle garden and the Flower Garden. The Flower Garden, the most preserved garden of its kind in Europe, was the main reason for the listing of the town as a UNESCO monument. After learning about how bishops used to spend their leisure time we will drive to Olomouc, the official residence of the archbishops. In Olomouc we will take a walking tour in the city centre starting with St Wenceslaus Cathedral and ending at the UNESCO monument of the Holy Trinity Baroque Column.
Price 110€ per person (price based on minimum of 2 persons)
Included: Trip transport with pick up and drop off at your Brno hotel, professional guide services, admission fee to the Flower Garden Notes: Tour for 1 person upon request. Other pick up/drop off places on request basis for additional cost.
